How to create a xp pro cd?

By KittensDen ·
Hi I read your article...."Create a bootable Windows XP CD slipstreamed with SP2 and hotfixes". I really would like to do this, but My computer came with xp pro already installed. I have a HP Pavilion a1140n. I hope you can help me with. Thanks

The Recovery Disc is the Slipstreamed Bootable Disc.

If you didn't get a recovery Disc HP provide a utility to allows you to burn a copy from the Recovery Partition but this is a 1 Use only thing so after you do it the first time there is no more possible.

If you have burnt a Disc and lost it or badly stored it you can contact HP and order a Recovery Set for your System. There is however a cost involved and you'll have to speak to HP in your area to find out how much this is.
