How to import printers information to a spreadsheet?

By plrod1906 ·
I have over 60 printers on my windows 2003 servers, I want to list all the printers information on an excel spreadsheet. How can I import these settings to a spreadsheet. Do I have to write a script.

Depends..

Try:

wmic printer get /format:csv > printers.csv

If you want to cut out some of the "fat" you can add the property names like so:

wmic printer get sharename, portname, etc /format:csv > printers.csv
