Depending on which version of Linux you are using here

You may need to change a setting in BIOS or you may be required to use a newer Distro which has Native Support for SATA HDD.

If you want more help can you advise what you are attempting to do here?

I can remember seeing it in Newsagents for under $40.00 advertised as the Complete Solution for all your Computer Software Needs.

I'm not sure just how many copies where sold but I know that at least 5 people have given me copies of this asking how to use it.
