How to open currupt microsoft project?

I have an MPP file, totally created in Project 2010, either hangs or causes Project 2010 to crash. Seems that there's some corruption in it. Have tried downloading the (few) solutions out there, without success. Not many good solutions it seems. Anyone have a clue to how resolve? This 7MB file is pretty significant, and rekeying it really isn't an option.

I would like to suggest you to try http://www.nucleustechnologies.com/kernel-project-server.html tool to effectively restore entire project information, like task schedule, project resources, custom fields, tasks etc from different project workspaces.

You can ask your Project Server administrator to recover a working copy of your project from the Archive database. This is upstart but your administrator can enable automatic backup of enterprise projects in Project Server 2013.
