How to open Folder Options thru Run command

By Professor-X ·
Hi,

Can any one advise on how to open Folder options thru Run (Start>Run) like other cpl files (i.e. timedate.cpl, etc.)in XP. It helps in a business environment where end user does not have admin rights on the system, so we can create a shortcut and run with Admin privileges.

I googled this topic but couldn't find much except it's a part of shell32.dll file and that can't be opened thru icon/run command.

Much appreciated.

I had the list copied but I forgot to copy the link. I had to hunt it down again. There are some great shortcuts in there. Thanks for the thought.

Hi Jacky,

Thanks for your help mate, that worked well. Created a shortcut for Control.exe and opened with Admin privileges which allowed me to change folder options and I even didn't have to log off user.

Much appreciated
