Are you sure it isn't NR0 as in 'zero'????

by DanLM In reply to how to read .nro files

I found some links referencing that that dealt with articles.

Example of:

Haven't found a reader yet, but I'm still looking.

OR - could they be .NFO files?

by OldER Mycroft In reply to how to read .nro files

I've seen these pop out of .rar archives before. When you left-click them you get an unreadable response or you get nothing at all.

However, when I want to read them I right-click and choose any text editor, like notepad or wordpad, and they just open like any other text file.

I never thought about the .nfo files

I was thinking because he was talking about course material, that it was some type of presentation file type.

A lot of times though when you get a rar file, they include the .nfo as an explanation to what it is.

Again, I never thought about that.

Good catch.

Your comment has given me a definite lift.

After the diatribe I've had from Sgt Shultz I almost felt like standing in the virtual corner!

If it is a .nfo file though, it's probably his screen resolution (or if he's anything like me - his failing eyesight) and whatever typeface he's using that might cause the mis-reading of the filetype.

Thanks for the uplift! ;-)

Chuckle, and I have been on the chit list here more then once. I think someone said recently that I'm no stranger to getting flamed, just out with it.

Glad to cheer someone up today.

Myself am tech savvy and i dont believe that these kinda stupid ignorances can happen from me. its an NRO file and it canot be opened by any word processors , its not an image which can be opened using winrar.

Well brother, o's and 0's look alike depending on what your using to view them.

But, in that your MUCH better then that.

figure it out for yourself. God forbid, that some lowly type such as myself might offer a solution that you don't agree with.

using nr0 instead of nro, I thought it was.

And they were Microsoft training material. But, you know what. Your problem now. You can stuff your uppity attitude in your ear and figure it out for yourself. I could g.a.s.
