How to rectify This "Access Denied Unable to Connect to Network Printer

I can install the network printer that will work for about 20min then the "access denied unable to connect" show up under the printer icon

Suggestion doesnt work for Win2K

Microsoft suggest that we save username and password when prompted, but in Win2K the prompt only ask for username and password, there is no option to save the password.

you'll get better answers if the folks answering you know more about your situation. Consider what may be involved in a problem, and provide that info when asking. (hardwar, software, network, etc...)

but Backup the Registry Key by right clicking on it and selecting eXport. Follow the prompts.

Press the Winkey + r and type in regedt32 and press Enter.

Grab your mouse and Navigate to: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA\RestrictAnonymous

change the Value Data of RestrictAnonymous to a value of 1 by right clicking and select Modify.

Thanks this solved my problem i did not save user and password info thought this was the right thin to do ? lol
