How to select all IP address

by eBob In reply to How to select all IP addr ...

The range "...2 to ...26" cannot be identified by a single subnet mask, if that's what you were wondering.

You can specify all of the "64..." network with "64.0.0.0 255.0.0.0". You can also specify parts of the 64 network with subnet masks, like "64.137.190.0 255.255.255.224" which describes the hosts 64.137.190.1 through 64.137.190.30, plus the network address 64.137.190.0 and the broadcast address 64.137.190.31.
