how to set default OS for PC?

Hi,
I have LINUX and Windows operating system on my home pc.For that matter i have to select one OS,as soon as i start my m/c.If i want windows to be my default OS,means if i want my pc to start with windows as a default OS,without selecting that.How can i do that?

You didn't say which version of windows, but in the system start up screen you can select which OS to start up automatically and how long to wait before it does so. This time setting allows you to choose Linux if desired.

You can't. Linux takes over on mbr (master boot record) and doesn't allow to set as a default another OS. Whatever you can do is when Linux press <TAB> and choose the the OS you want...
