HTML.Redlof.A Virus

i am using win98se and notron anti virus updated May10,2003,i was on vecation, sombody else were using my computer.On my return i run the anti
virus, it is showing around 400 files has virus "HTML.Redlof.A" in folder.htt, there was no virus before vecation. try to remove it manually and automaticly, NAV says unable to repair, delete it and copy uninfeted file, PL reply Thanks

hi.. thanks for the reply.I got the antivirus utility named Anti-Redlof from website http://pragya.cjb.net/,works fine.try this and inform others,

Click Start, and click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
Type regedit and then click OK. The Registry Editor opens.
Navigate to the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

In the right pane, delete the value

Kernel32

Navigate to the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\[Default Use ID]\Software\
Microsoft\Outlook Express\[Outlook Version].0\Mail

In the right pane, delete the values

Compose Use Stationery
Stationery Name
Wide Stationery Name

Navigate to the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Outlook\Options\Mail

In the right pane, delete the value

EditorPreference

Navigate to and delete these subkeys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dllFile\Shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dllFile\ShellEx
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dllFile\ScriptEngine
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dllFile\ScriptHostEncode

Exit the Registry Editor
