It seems like every week someone from there is coming down with severe amnesia and forgetting his/her password. Perhaps they all need to start taking vitamin supplements like Ginkoba to address their loss of memory. :^0

If you ARE a real “system admin” you would know the answer to your own question. But if not:
1) Get another hdd.
2) Install windows.
3) Boot from new hdd (with new password)
4) Access your old hdd and files.

This is content that TR has no control over. The good news is that they change on a revolving basis.

Still, the sites could go away but the content we post will last beyond that. I say make the idiots WORK for their hack! And pay for it too!

Don’t plan to provide password reset info. Just thought it ironic that links were on same page with question.

Years back (prior to site re-design), password cracks were a common question in the Tech Questions area. Most of us would post a reply that we didn’t answer such questions and then some doofus would come along and provide a link to a certain password editor. Now such responses can be removed.

You’d think that anyone who found this site could find out on their own. Maybe they keep posting to see the flaming responses 🙂
