I need to make a single network from 2 DSL lines

By jbiohaz ·
Due to some budget and tech limitations, we currently have 2 4MB DSL lines (in a small town in Mexico). I need to find a way to join these two DSL lines to work as one single network. We don't have any fixed IP addresses so this is not an issue. Can this be done on a computer with 2 extra LAN cards? Or do you know of any DSL aggregator that I can use to do this task?

2 DSL Lines

You could do this with a PC and extra LAN cards as you said. Something like http://www.smoothwall.org/ would work, although there are plenty of options: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_router_or_firewall_distributions)

Another option would be to use a Dual WAN router. I recently used one made by Billion but other brands also make them. The ones I have seen generally cost $300+

Thanks for the tip....

I have the opportunity to set up a server for this network, this is why I asked to see if I could bridge the DSL lines on a computer, but I think the Dual WAN router will be the best tool for the task.

I really appreciate your feedback...
