Hey now!

I've been in Midlands pubs...and rather enjoyed them!!!

I was also in a pub with neilb during his visit here in Florida. That is one of my favorite times ever.

And I still owe Sonja margaritas...I wonder if my boss will deliver her some to Louisville this weekend. He's there for a family reunion.

Well done

That's one of the best segue's I've seen you come up with. It's not just the UK though, it seems all countries BUT the USA, where politics skew science, are on board.

I know science is irrelevant in the face of politics though. As soon as something becomes politically aligned, one side support it one side opposes it, regardless of source, facts, sense or anything else. It either must be strictly supported or opposed, which is another reason the US is so far behind the rest of the world on so many fronts.

quite entertaining. I hope he has an email where she described her goods, and then he can sue her for not accurately describing them.

Then, he should pay the police back for their time with the money he gets.

This is why I stay in pubs and not hotel car parks when in the United Kingdom. lol

It's the UK, John

by neilb@uk In reply to I find it...

He can't sue for anything like this. We don't have that many lawyers. The best he can hope for is to get her prosecuted by the local council. He won't get a penny.

Quite a shame

I'd like to see the guy have to take his winnings and repay the system.

Keep your taxes down some.

BTW...lest I become married to some female...plans are I will retire on that side of the pond.

I have to get away from these kooky American retirees who think the best choice for governor in a state of 23% retirees...is the man whose corporation, while under his direct leadership, committed the biggest case of Medicare fraud in our country's history.

Gotta love it.
