I don't think you want the God job. It's really not all it's cracked up to be. It's a seven day per week job, every single week, 52 weeks per year. You get credit for some good things, sure. But, you get BLAMED for EVERYTHING that goes wrong. Even when it rains they hold you responsible. Everybody is constantly looking to you to provide guidance and leadership 24x7x365. It never ends. And that constant drumbeat of prayers and pleadings and beggings and whining!! My God!! That can drive a guy crazy!

Furthermore, the job is already taken! The current guy in that job sometimes gets really angry and takes out his anger on the people (just read the Old Testament).

So, if I were you, I would seriously consider just becoming a good programmer.

But, I do hear that there's an opening for an Archangel.

Ever since Lucifer got canned, it's been hard to find find and retain good Angels.

And, it's terribly hard now to recruit the younger crowd; alt-rock and hip-hop played on harps just doesn't cut it.

You need to work on the communication skills a bit

not a dig at your splelling, mine isn't that good either.
Even with a bucket load of qualifications, you aren't going to start in a 'good' job.
What you should look for is for jobs where you can build experience in how to apply what you know, that make you have to learn more and employers who recognise you as an investment.
Short of all that, one that puts food on the table and lets you claim experience will do.

Software development is a big field and domain knowledge can be as if not more valuable than technical ability.
If you have no preference / no prior experience, finance banking stock broking etc is where the lucrative jobs are.
They generally only take on grads with very high academic marks though.
