HI I HAVE A IBM CELERON 2.4 BLACK COVER SYSTEM, WELL WHEN I START IT, IT GIVES A POST TEST OKI THEN IT RETURNS TO THE MAIN SCREEN AUTOMATICALLY..AFTER I RESTARTED IT SAYING NO OPERATING SYSTEM FOUND, THEN I REPLACED MY HARD DISK AND THEN INSERTED MY WIN XP DISC WELL THE WEN THE DISC LOADS THE SCREEN IT BLANK FOR MORE THAN 5 HRS SHOWING NOTHING?

WELL I NEED HELP ON THIS MATTER SOME CAN HELP ME OUT? TO ME ITS THE MOTHERBOARD, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

first u please check your hdd cable then ram

HAVE YOU LOOKED IN THE BIOS TO MAKE SURE

That the new HDD is correctly Recognized and then Saved the Changes as you exit the BIOS?

If not the Computer is mapping the new HDD the same as the OLD one and creating errors.
Also depending on just how big you went with the new HDD it may not be usable with this hardware as BIOS does have a Upper Limit on the size of the HDD that it supports.

Hi, Sorry to hear about your problem:
Contact me as this looks like a corrupted
BIOS Configuration at start press F1, or F2.
Depending on the Mother-board go to the bios boot prefance config tab and set it to first boot device CD-or DVD rom.
to LOAD or install from CD.
REset BIOS to Default config and start from there.
