IE crashes

In the last few weeks IE has started to crash on random websites. Error message says IE has encountered problem and needs to re-start. I have Vista Home Premium on my system with a duo core and 2 megs of ram.

  under [tools] [internet options] click on [delete] next to browsing history. The next box, click [delete all].
  
  This solves quite a few problems. Also, check for viruses, spyware, and BHO’s. Spybot S&D is great for spyware and BHO’s.

  Another thing to try would be a reset of Internet Explorer. This will delete all temporary files, disable browser add-ons, and resets all changed settings. If IE starts acting up, this is the first thing I try since I don’t have any personalized setting or add-ons. Seems to fix alot of problems.
  
  Tools > Internet Options > ‘Advanced’ Tab > ‘Reset’ Button
