Is it possible to connect a computer that has the IEEE 1394 wireless to the internet using the DSL wireless connection?
What do I need for this work?

IEEE1394 is not wireless … it is firewire a.k.a. iLink and generally used to connect things like hard drives and camcorders. Firewire uses a cable and is not wireless.

What you need is a Wi-Fi kit a.k.a. 802.11 (a, b, g … depends on what wireless router you are using).

        Hope this info can help.
Most pcs has built 1394 adapter. And yes it’s a firewire. You can actually see that under network adapters. You cannot delete that (FYI). Also most pcs has built-in wireless adapter as well. If you have that built-in adapter, you only need access point that is connected to the router or a wireless router(router+accesspoint in one), whichever you want. You must have the router connected to the modem. If you have that, you’re ready to go up and running……..
