If Linux went big....

If Linux went big, all your favourite apps, programs and games got linux clients, if all dekstop PCs included linux..... Would you switch to Linux? What Linux Distro would you like to see? For me I would switch and for me It's Ubuntu

    It's as insecure as Windows and has all of the shortcomings that Windows has.

    If you want to move away from Windows why would you accept a Platform that is as Windows Like as what you have just left?

    Ubuntu is the Clayton's Linux it's the Linux you use when you don't want anything to do with Linux.

    Yes. Tired of giving Redmond my money even for system builder licenses.
    Those have both served my casual linux needs well.
    I generally put a dual boot copy of mandriva on with windows for recovery purposes.

    And if it wasn't significantly less than the price of a Windows system, say $100 or more, probably not even then. I'm comfortable with Windows, and I don't have any issues with it. I have nothing to gain from switching to Linux (or Mac either).
