I'm looking for info re: Apple i calendar Windows 7

By babycattos ·
First is Apples ical compatible with Windows 7 64bit? If the answers yes I'll assume there is an available download, does anyone know the link? Second iphones and icalendar do work together don't they? Meaning an iphone should have no problems syncing with the PC ical is loaded on? Does the sync option only work if you are using ical on a Mac? Finally, is there any calendar software for the PC that will allow me to input data in the calendar on my iphone and then allow me to pull up the calendar on my PC and retrieve the same data I put in my iphone with or without syncing the two? Whew, that was a lot of questions, my bad.

Re: ical Win7

by TobiF In reply to I'm looking for info re: ...

Well, when I search for Apple software in the compatibility list for Win7-64, I find 14 programs, but no iCal.

So if you're limited to PC, I guess you need to find some other solution.

Don't have any iPhone, so I can't really say anything on your other questions.

No they are not. Apple uses BSD as a Basis of their OS in all products and this is not Windows. You Can not run Apple Applications on a Windows System unless like iTunes they have a Windows Version of that application.

I think the rest is also answered also.

I understood that I had to download iTunes to use Apple apps on my PC

by babycattos In reply to Easy answer to the first ...

I'm glad you told me this. I had already downloaded iTunes on my PC but that was only because of 1 calendar program I was researching. Thanks to your post I have a better understanding of why the iTunes step was necessary. Thx.
