Implementing a WiMax WAN network to interconnect 3 different LANs

By shinau ·
I'm planning to interconnect 3 LANs for a company, which are located in a geographic area of 6 Kilo meter radius. I'm thinking of using WiMax to make a WAN point-to-point link between these 3 locations. I would like to know if this is possible, and if so what are hardware and equipments (ie. CPEs, Antennas, radio transmitters, routers, etc...) which will be required. Please post any comments or suggestions in terms of building the WAN infrastructure for this network.

Wimax

You will need to establish 3 Wimax links to the base stations in which the service is active. (that is in your area) you will then have to VPN all offices together. Some company's will sell you the antenna's to do it yourself but it is very costly.

Many thanks
