What is the "E" stand for in PIII 500E?

Hi, the "E" refers to the manufacturing process which is 0.18 micron(as opposed to 0.25). This designates intel's coppermine chip. You can look at intel's support pages for more information (www.intel.com)

by memory the "E" stands for FSB speed of 100 and when it is "EB" thats for FSB 133.
The "E" is easier to overclock than the "EB".
