Internet Explorer 7 not connect to internet but Mozilla can>???

How can I get ie7 running again on vista without reinstalling vista? I can receive email and can connect to the internet using mozilla but receive page can not be displayed evertime with ie.

Well it depends on what you did to IE7 to stop it working.

You could try left clicking on the File and then scroll down to the Work Online as the easiest option.

Then if that doesn't work you could look at the Security Settings and lower them to Medium.

But without knowing what you did to stop IE working there isn't much else that can be suggested. OF course using Fire Fox is more secure than IE ever could be so maybe that's just a better option for General Browsing at least though the Microsoft Update Site may prove problems.

Once that is installed in FF, ie7 is defunct.

You might need to..

Go into "IE7" and look under "tools" and make sure "work offline" is not ticked.. Also go into "internet options > search" and make sure that "live search" is high lighted. You could always make sure that you computer is running smoothly by downloading "Regcure":

There will be people who will tell you not to get it because of this and that but i use it all the time on my vista systems without any trouble. This might cure some of your problems, if not all.

check for malware

load and update your fav adware scanner (adaware is one I use).

boot to safe mode and run a full scan.

reboot and try IE.
