IP Route CISCO Router 2600 series

By Prendph ·
How can I delete a IP route on the cisco 2600 router. We have a encryption unit that is been transfered to a new location which is now connected to a new router. When I add the new ip route it has only a success rate of 60%. Which is maybe a cause of the previous ip route on the other router it is been connected before.

I'm a bit confused on a couple of points. Has the old router been removed completely from the network? Are you using static routes or a protocol such as RIP or EIGRP? Does the encryption unit have its' own IP address and has this been correctly set to reflect that of the new router?? What do you mean by only a 60% success rate?? Are there any dial up links??

If you are using static routes, the command
NO IP ROUTE a.b.c.d a.b.c.d interface
should work to delete the old route.

Hard to say without looking at your config files
