Is that Virus ?

Recently my IE are running smoothly but since yesterday, my IE homepage has being set to web-search.com. I can't remove it anyhow..
History Cleared , cookies deleted .. but still
unable to delete.
Please advice

Look here...they tell you what it is and how to get rid of it...it is Adware, not a virus.

You will have to go into your registry and manually find and delete all entries containing web-search. It's not a virus just nasty adware that's a pain in the arse to remove.

Downoad Ad-Aware PE(from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) it's free for home users => Scan your PC and go through the resoults=>Check everything suspicious and delete it.

Apparently you would rather keep looking for another answer rather than read the link I actually sent you. If you read the whole article, it tells you toward the bottom exactly how to edit the registry to correct the problem. You can keep looking all you want to for the answer you want to hear or just go fix the problem and be done with it. Subject closed.
