Im taking a IT business class for grad school trying to see if I can get help I cant find any really IT federal guidlines. My undergrad is health care. But the question is because I have to assume I own a small business and will need wifi, so i need to know about rules and regulations to avoid the laws of networks, communications, etc.

The Internet Connection Owner is responsible for what is downloaded on their Internet Connection. The ISP's report Suspect Activity to the Authorities.

As for Legislation things like the Patriot Act, and the others introduced post 9-11 come to mind as being applicable and anything relating to Kiddy Porn would be very unhelpful.

The way's to protect places from Prosecution is to block sites that fall onto Official Black Lists.
