1) Does this software run on a desktop or server?
2) What kind of Database does it use?
3) Does the database have to be on the same machine as the application?
4) Is there a Demo I can review?

    I saw your post and thought I'd try answering your questions.

    1. The IT Manager's Financial Tool Kit will run on a Windows server. However, due to most servers' production responsibilities, I'd always recommend running such applications from a desktop.

    2. The product does not use a database; all of its files are contained on the CD.

    3. Again, there's no database; all of the CD's files are contained on the CD and no database is required.

    4. There's no demo. However, TechRepublic books and CDs offer a 30-day money back guarantee.
