ITIL v3 Books

By cyberflaw ·
Hello,
I'm planning on going for ITIL foundation certification and was looking for some books on Version 3. Can anyone suggest from their personal experience?
Thanks!

Stick with V2

I'd stay away from V3 certification for a good while yet. The foundation exam for V3 is meant to be extremely difficult as they are still effectively trying to bed it in.

It?s going to take them a year or two to get the curriculum for all the new modules into place, so you won?t be able to follow the V3 foundation up with anything worthwhile.

Stick with V2 and use the upgrade exams later if required.

As for books. Check out Amazon and search for ITIL. There are loads of em there. The ITIL Service Operation book (V3) aint that heavy a read.
