It's only a Path

By john.m1 ·
Hi, I know that i know this but,,,,,i'm tired now.
OK i have a "folderA" which contains "folderB" and a "shortcut".

FolderB has an HTML based picture gallery with thumbnails and an index.html etc. the shortcut in folderA is to the index.html in"folderB". It all works fine.

Repeat it all works fine until i burn to CD. the shortcut now points to the wrong path. I understand why it is wrong but please tell me how to make it work when on a CD.

I am guessing that in the shortcut icon properties, i enter some kind of generic path (\\folderA\index.html). Help Please

CptOmlly, thanks, i had tried just about all variations without success hence this question.

still want to learn this but for now i used the folowing fix.

I created a simple HTML page in the "folderA" directory and used it for Credits/instructions etc and Linked to Gallery1 and Gallery2. still need to learn the path way as it may help me in the future.

Thanks again, enjoy the points!
