Large printouts from IE5

By jpadams ·
I have a client running Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 5.0 on a Novell network. They access very long pages (35+ printed pages of legal stuff) while on the Internet and print them out (after the entire page loads). Problem is that when they print from IE, the first 10 or 11 pages print fine, then they get a few blank pages, then it starts from the 1st page again, then more blank pages, etc. They can copy and paste into MS Word or Wordpad and it prints fine. This occurs consistently on both network printers and local printers, and on all W95 workstations. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There was a problem with similar symptoms reported by Microsoft with a particular version of LPT.VXD used in Win95. Search for this file and veiw the properties of the file and find the version. The reported problem was with version 4.00.950. Youcan replace this file with version 4.00.503, which is on the Win95 CD or version 4.00.951, which is downloadable from Microsoft. No garantees that this is the fix but it definately something that can be ruled out as the culprit.
