Linking to exe via IE

By robin.kirmeier ·
I want to use an HTML file for a background. The file would have graphics that are hyper linked to executables so when a user clicks an image it would start the program. Well this is all easy but how can you make IE open an exe without prompting to you to Save or Open? I want the application to start without any intervention from the user once the link is clicked.

Thanks,
Robin

Try setting security level for intranet to low. You may need to try going to custom level and change "launching programs and files" to "enable"
Hope this helps.
