is it possible to dual boot linux and windows98? how?

Not a problem. Once W98 is on, boot the PC from the Linux 6.1 CD. Follow the instructions, create the reqquired partitions and use LiLo to control which OS to boot. You can also use PartitionMagig/BootMagic to manage the OS to be used at boot time.

The easiest way to accomplish this is to install windows 98 first and then install Linux.
If your system will boot to the CD-ROM then all you have to do is install windows then put the RedHat cd in and reboot.
If your system will not boot to the CD-ROM then you will need to create a linux boot disk using the rawrite program and the boot.img file from the RedHat cd.
