Linux firewall with 3 NIC

Hi!

It all depends on which kernel version you have, but I take it you have one of the later which support ipchains.

If you want you internal network to transparently be ably to get out on inteernet which I take one of your NICs is connected to you need to enable MASQUERADING.

All this can be accomplished by either reading Firewall-HOWTO, just search on altavista for Firewall-HOWTO and you'll find it.

An easier way would be to go to:
www.freshmeat.net and there search on firewall, you'll find both programs and scripts that can aid in firewall setup.

Making an example to show you would take up too much time, you shouldn't just use an example, you should understand the rules and how a firewall works first.

There are plentyof examples in the Firewall-HOWTO.
