Linux - What version/distribution is bes

By kelvin_anwanwan ·
Hi there:

I have just recently been introduced to Linux OS and I'm researching and asking ambitiously which distribution of Linux software is best for online and offline transactions.

Well I must say there's a lot of similar capabilities on the different linux distributions, I have been working with several of these distributions as RedHat, Mandrake, SuSE and Slackware, resuming I can recommend 4 of them, specially Redhat

Hi!

If you are new to linux go with latest Suse or RedHat because they have the easiest installations and graphical tools for easy modem configuration and such.

I?d recommend SuSE....
Easy install, easy upgrade, easy to add packages.
You can have a functional server, web server, mail, print, nt, fax and
a lot more in less than one hour.

If you have any experience with SUN Solaris you?ll find yourself at home!!!

As SuSE team states: "Have a lot of fun..."

Best? The one you obtain from scratch, by compiling the kernel and programs with your own options, to suit your own needs.
