Loading Win98 and Win2000

By asal00 ·
I just bought a 30gb hard drive and I wish to load Windows 98 and Windows 2000 on it so that upon boot up it will ask me which OS I wish to boot up with. Could someone give me step-by-step instructiong on how to properly accomplish this and how I might partition my hard drive if I should partition it? a quick response would be most helpfull.

Use Fdisk. Partition the HD (but don't bother formatting). As a first guess I would suggest 15-15. Load Win98 onto the first partition and make sure it is running. Load W2K. When asked if you want to upgrade or make a "new install", take "new install". Then you will be prompted for a location. Select the 2nd partition. a "MENU" will be built for you which asks you to chose between the 2 OSs.
