Locked out of Windows 2000

By hanes_ray ·
I have a Win 2000 machine I use just on a peer to peer network and use on a workgroup. Something has changed it so that its looking for a domain that doesn't exsist. I can't login as administrator.
The error I get is The system cannot log you on now because the domain workgroup is not available.

You can still logon as the local admin as long as you remember that password.
At the logon screen click the options button, and in the domain field select the name of the computer. Type in the administrator name and password to the computer. Thatshould get you back into the machine.

Make sure your cables are connected good and then make one of the computers the host and the other one a guest.
