Logging on to domain

By Borg7of9 ·
I have win2000 workstation logging onto a win2000 domain server. When getting to log on screen, usually my workstations show last logon name, and show the server logging onto. On this one workstation, the default is the actual computer name and not the server name. How do I switch it so that my default the workstation shows the doamin server for logon?

Has a group policy been set to not show the last logon name as documented in this Microsoft article?

In Exchange it's:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=840268

In AD it's:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q310125&sd=tech

Enjoy!

This works through the whole of the network or on individual machince depending on where in active directory you place the policy.
