Login into windows through Linux.

By manish_rit21 ·
Sir,
I would like to know that can I log into our domain which is on NT Server through Linux, mean to say that Linux should act as a PDC and Nt server should act as a BDC. Presently all our users login into NT Server domain. Please tell me how should I make the users Login into Linux and Linux sends to NT Server for authntication. I just know that a Linux box should be running Samba Server. Please tell me more what to do? Reply,
Manish.

Login into windows through Linux.

I haven't seen a post to the samba list like that before .... However since samba emulates NT4 I supose it is possible; though I don't think it is realy needed. Here is a link to the PDC Howto: http://us1.samba.org/samba/ftp/docs/htmldocs/Samba-PDC-HOWTO.html I would also recommend signing up on the samba list a watch it for a while.
