Im trying to load the software for my QuickCam 5.4.1. and the software is telling me that I dont have a working USB Port, How do I set up my settings for my USB ports to recognize the software. Also How do i troubleshoot my computer to see if my USBports are working properly?

What version of windows are you using? look at start, settings, control panel and system. it shows all your devices and settings for your computer. if there is a yellow ! or a red x something is not right. there is a device called a loop back that you can use to check ports.

Enable USB,by opening the CMOS(Bios) Control Panel,by hitting the Delete key at startup or specific key for your machine
Look under Peripheral,or Input/Output Ports Configuration menu, setup option
Locate USB Controllers settings of computer Bios and select to enable, save changes and exit,Reboot
Troubleshooting open the Control Panel,double-click the System icon,go down the list to Controllers and it should be listed
Site to reference for more info go to
