Logoff Network in Win XP

By lmcdonald ·
I went from a 98 to xp user machine. On the 98 I could simply logoff the network and work solely on my local (c:) drive. I don't seem to have that option with my XP. Is there someway I can logoff the network and work on my local on my XP?

You will need to logoff the domain and then login to the local workstation. You should see the workstation name as choice in the domain list.

This choice would require you to have a local account on the workstation.

If you are not on a domain and just in a workgroup then NO you cannot do it to my knowledge.
