Can someone please tell me what is the best way to set a logon script to map a shared folder in user profile? Where to place script file?

I am assuming that you have a domain controller in place running WinNT Server or Win2K server.

Use the net use command in Notepad and save it as a bat file.
(net use X:\\servername\shared folder)
Save As: 'whatever'.bat - file type Text File.Save it to the Netlogon folder.

In the user profile, type the name of the bat file in the "Logon script name" field, under the Profile tab.
