Looking for a remote access software equivalent to Netstorage in Microsoft

By jlotfi5 ·
Hello everyone,

In my office, we are going to migrate from Novell server to Microsoft server. The employees currently use Netstorage to access their documents on the server from home. Netstorage can not be available for employyes after migration to MS. I am looking some software to function like Netstorage in MS world.
Any advice is apprecited

But you can use Terminal Services to allow them to access a desktop from any web browser. Combined with Citrix if you are on Server 2003 or new app presentation stuff on Server 2008 it works quite well.

If they physically need access to their files on the local machine then I'm not sure what you would do. Maybe Sharepoint since it is web enabled, but I would be concerned about security.

Scott

I have never used Netstorage, but have worked with several large enterprises who used GoToMyPC to give employees access to LAN data.

You may want to have a look at RHUB http://www.rhubcom.com. You can deploy it at your premises and access any computer anywhere.
