    low memory

    i am facing a strange problem.when i open exel it works some time after that it ocurs low resources and dagerosly terminate application.
    Action Taken(systems configuration PIII 1,0b ghz,64 mb ram,20gb hard disk)
    1 increase ram 64 to 128 mb
    2 uninstall office 2000 proff reinstall office 2000 proff.
    Pl suggest me right solution

      I would probably first uninstall all of Office and reinstall it. Sounds like a leak in Excel or one of the shared files.

      If that does not help, install all 3 service packs (but read up on them about Outlook’s attachment issues MS put in).

      Increasing RAM is always a good thing. Does not hurt to try.

      You did not specify which version of Windows you are running, but if it is XP or 2k, use the Task manager (CTRL ALT DEL, unless you havea shortcut for it). See what file is taking up all theCPU and which has the highest used memory.

      Using some memory optimization programs, like the FREE Cacheman v5, will be very helpful on any computer. It is at Outertech.com or any download web site. It will help manager your memory and unload unused DLLs.
