Mac driver for 3com NIC 3c905cx-txnm

According to the 3Com website (www.3com.com), drivers for the 3C905CX are available for DOS, Windows, Netware, Linux, and Unix, but not Mac.

I don't think 3Com makes any NICs for the Mac. If they do, I couldn't find any. A search on both Macintosh and Apple turned up nothing.

The vast majority of 3com NICs are not supported on the Mac platform. For Mac compatibility I would recommend looking at the Farallon and Asante cards.

Most newer Macs have a NIC built in though...if you're using an older mac, remember you may need a Nubus card rather than PCI. These are out there, but I've had fits with drivers on them (only for old versions of the OS). You may get one that's fine...but I'd talk to the manufacturer and make sure it supports the version of MacOS you use.Good luck...hope this helps!
