Mail stuck in IMC queue

By Dayko ·
I have a 100MB message stuck in my outgoing IMC queue. I have tried deleting it but it always returns when you restart the IMC. I have tried the Technet solution using Mdbvu32.exe. Can anyone help?

(I realise now taht i should have limited message sizes so this can't happen)

Try the following in this order
1. Within the Internet Mail Service Properties configure your message size limits

2. Stop the Internet Mail Service

3. From within the IMC folder delete the offending message (or all the messages if you are unsure which one it is.)

4. Restart the Internet Mail Server

The reason I said try this is becuase if the message is returning after you have deleted it then it is possible that another Exchange Server could be sending the message to the IMC. Setting the size limit before hand will keep the message from reintering the Queue.
