MAKE A SCREEN SAVER FROM CHARACTER MAP

By CBOSTEK ·
Several years ago I read a computer magazine article on how to make screen savers from the character map using the WingDings font. (ie: flying mailboxes) It was a combination of keystrokes. I am unable to find my literature on this article. Do youknow where I can obtain this info or do you know how to do this??
Regards
Christine

Well, set the screen saver to 3D Text.
Click the Settings button. In the Display Text box, put in the following characters:
,-./
Now, click the Choose Font button, and select Windings. Click OK and save the changes.
Those 4 characters are mailboxes in varying states (normal mailbox, closed mailbox with flag up, open mailbox with mail in it and the flag up, open mailbox empty with flag up)

Hope this helps.
