MCSE CCNA after English (H)..worth it??

Being from a non-IT background(honours in english literature) should I be doing MCSE+CCNA??..i mean my actual goal is to do CEH but i want to make my networking base strong and then proceed for CEH..so does IT background matters alot in getting jobs or is it all skill based?

All depends on what you are doing at present ...

Because unless you are already working in the IT security field, you won't be able to sit the CEH exam.

I don't know how this certification is adjudged in India, but in the UK if you want to sit the exam you need to have documented 2 years of information security work experience.

So - what are you doing right now ?

Well thanks for the reply and i just completed my graduation and right now i am searching for best MCSE+CCNA training institutes here in india.

So i just wanted to know whether this (MCSE+CCNA+few yrs of work experience in networking field)path is enough for me to enrol myself for CEH? Or as you saying 2 yrs of IT security field experience is required then tell me which all certificates i require to get myself into that field?
