Memory error message in Outlook 2000

By Lori ·
I have 64 mb of RAM on my computers. The only progrmas that I have installed on them are Win98 and Office 2000. When I try to open Outlook, I get an error message that there is not sufficient memory to run the program. I run Office 2000 at work withthe same setup and have no problems whatsoever.
I have fdisk and reloaded both machines in case it was a Windows problem, but this has not seemed to help. Has anyone else come across this problem, or know of a fix? Thanks.

try sticking your office cd and make sure office was completely installed. there may be some missing files. This sometimes happens when installing software locally first to a machine on a network.

Hi Lori,

I think your problem resides on your memory.

If you can get your hands on another set of memory, take that one out and try the new one. Memory chips are know for causing that kind of problem.

Good Luck!
