Microsoft technologies related to SQL Server

I am completely new to IT. Very much interested to start a career in this growing field. Recently got trained in Ms SQL Server 2012. Have a basic idea of querying in SQL server. I want to move ahead. What should be the next technologies to continue with. I am aware there is no particular sequence. But I am looking for some suggestions who can guide me further. Eg., C#, C/C in what sequence should be learned? Or any other related /relevant technologies to be learned.

Try the MCSE

by jameelahr2002 In reply to Microsoft technologies re ...

I found that having a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Information Systems is a great accent to the SQL experience. Also, history of Windows Server 2008,20012 with SQL Server will be a great combo. Try the MCSA or MCSE certification. Careers in Systems Administration, Database Administration, or Application Support would be ideal. Also, Oracle, C and HTML are great to know.
