Mirroring the desktop on two monitors using Windows XP

By nshaffer ·
I have a computer that is going to be connected to a projector and a 19" LCD monitor. Is there a way to mirror the desktop image to the projector, instead of just extending the desktop? If so, how is this done?

I do know that this is an option with Vista, but I didn't see it as an option with XP.

It's most likely

a function of the Video card manufacturer's driver.

Go to your display properties and click on the settings tab, then click the "Advanced" button. See if there's an extra tab for your driver. If not there, maybe in Control Panel.

If it's not there, you'll probably have to look for documentation from the video card manufacturer's web site.

nVidia Control Panel

by TechBender In reply to It's most likely

I know that quite a few of nVidia's drivers (the ones I've work with, at least) can come with nVidia's Control Panel, which makes setting up multiple screens easier most of the time.

You can find it after it's been installed, just as TonytheTiger mentioned, in Display Properties > Settings tab > 'Advanced...' button > (nVidia driver) tab > 'Start the nVidia Control Panel' button
