Sounds like spyware! Download AdAware from www.lavasoftusa.com (free program) or SpyBot (also free!) from www.download.com. Make sure you update both programs before using to catch everything, but from what I have read, that should take care of your problem.

The problem is taht you have an entry in the registry that is attemptimg to ;oad the bridge.dll file.
As burtonizer stated get AdAware and Spybot Search and Destroy. You should have both. Scan you machine with both they will remove the registry entry.

DO NOT download the Bridge.Zip file, all this will do is re-infect you PC with Spyware/Malware.

Open notepad and do the following:

Create a file and save it as unbridge.reg, edit/enter the following into the file -

#################################################

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]"RunDLL"=-

#################################################

close notepad, double click unbridge.reg and accept the changes
once this is done you be able to start without the message for bridge.dll.

If you get bdl14025 or bridge.dll pop-up during the start up of Windows. Do the following to remove it:

Download a program called: HijackThis
can be found here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

Install the program and run it. It will list all the changes to IE

find these 2 entries:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BRIDGE.DLL

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BRIDGE.DLL",Load

select them and fix them.
This should resolve the problem.

Also do a Windows update on all critical patches.

Hope this helps u :)

Hi,
Check for bridge.dll key in registry and delete it. To do this follow the steps:

1. Click Start-Run
2. Type as:- regedit
3. And then follow the path given, locate the file and delete:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run]
"RunDLL"=-
